About The Role

The Staff Data Analyst at Assured will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that influence key business decisions. Partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization, the analyst will design and implement analyses, build dashboards, and develop reporting frameworks to provide visibility into operational performance, customer outcomes, and organizational health. This role involves identifying trends, uncovering opportunities for improvement, and supporting strategic initiatives through rigorous data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex problems, a strong foundation in data manipulation and visualization, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to impact the future of insurance claims processing by leveraging data to guide smarter, more efficient decision-making processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is a plus
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and data warehouses such as AWS, Snowflake, or Databricks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex insights effectively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Partner with various teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical projects
  • Design and conduct experiments, pilots, and performance evaluations to support decision-making
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to monitor operational and business performance
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, and emerging risks or opportunities
  • Utilize segmentation, cohort analysis, and behavioral data to understand customer and operational behaviors
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to answer high-impact questions and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Identify gaps in data collection and work on improving data quality, instrumentation, and reporting processes
  • Develop meaningful KPIs and reporting frameworks to enable continuous measurement of success
  • Simplify complex problems by asking the right questions, exploring datasets, and delivering actionable insights
  • Support the evaluation of strategic initiatives by providing analytical support and insights
