Artificial Intelligence is transforming the workforce, creating both opportunities and stress for workers. Experts advise embracing AI to stay competitive and relevant.
Run Towards AI and Upskill Michelle Perchuk, founder of MTV Coaching, emphasizes: "Run towards it and figure out the skills that we need to develop in order to work hand in hand with AI." She helps people level up their careers and stresses that AI is not going away. Instead of fearing AI, learn to integrate it into daily life. Perchuk suggests exploring tools like Fathom notes for transcription, Perplexity, and project management tools to boost productivity.

Focus on Skills, Not Job Titles Nathan Espey, an AI learning consultant at Farcelis and CityGov, advises: "Stop thinking about job titles, think about skills." He highlights the importance of learning how to ask better questions to effectively use AI tools.
Embrace AI Tools for Quality Work Kavita Ganesan, chief AI strategist at Opinosis Analytics, says: "Instead of fearing becoming redundant, it's best to embrace the AI tools, see what it actually is, and how it can help the individual use the tool to basically improve the quality of your work." Remember, the workforce will always need people for tasks AI cannot perform.
Human Judgment and Ethics Matter Experts note that AI cannot replace human transformation. Perchuk explains: "AI will never replace transformation because we are the ones that need to give AI a prompt. AI cannot keep us accountable. It can only give us the information that we need, but then it's up to us to decipher that information." Espey adds: "Not just how to use the tools, but understand where that judgment, ethics and context still matter. And then get the right training."
Use AI as Assistance, Not Replacement Ganesan points out: "We can use these tools as assistance to help us do our work better. But we actually at the front providing that layer of service to our employers, to our clients." AI tools are not perfect, so always check the authenticity of their output and adhere to appropriate use standards in your job.
