The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our EMEA team. Reporting directly to the Sales Director of Northen Europe, you will be responsible for driving high-impact sales and business development. This role balances strategic account management with sophisticated data analysis, ensuring our regional performance aligns with global growth targets.

You will manage a diverse portfolio including Direct OEM accounts, Regional Franchised Distributors, and Global Distributors within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth: Analyze the existing OEM customer base to identify "design-in" opportunities and build a robust, structured pipeline for execution.
  • Market Collaboration: Partner with Business Development Managers and Marketing teams to define regional strategies and capture emerging market trends.
  • Technical Advocacy: Support customers with technical specifications, marketing materials, and New Product Introductions (NPI), acting as the bridge between customer needs and our engineering teams.
  • Relationship Management: Foster long-term partnerships through a high frequency of in-person visits, virtual engagement, and coordinated joint visits with distribution partners.
  • Data & Analytics: Take ownership of expanded regional reporting. Consolidate and analyze sales performance data, provide accurate forecasting, and track distributor KPIs to provide actionable insights for quarterly business reviews.
  • CRM Excellence: Maintain meticulous records in the CRM system to ensure transparency in sales tracking and project management.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Industry Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development, specifically within the interconnect or electronic components industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to close complex technical sales and negotiate contracts at all organizational levels.
  • Analytical Mindset: High proficiency in CRM tools and Excel; you should be comfortable translating raw sales data into strategic visual presentations.
  • Proactive Autonomy: A self-starter who thrives in a home-office environment but can collaborate seamlessly across remote, cross-functional teams.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently throughout the assigned region.
  • Languages: Full professional fluency in English is required.
  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related technical field preferred.
