About The Role We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our client's dynamic team within the financial services sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on subscription-based products, focusing on creating seamless and engaging experiences for users across free and premium tiers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive digital interfaces that enhance user engagement, drive conversions, and improve retention rates. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketing professionals to translate business requirements into compelling design solutions. The position is a contract role with a flexible remote working arrangement, requiring occasional travel to the Nottingham office. • Proven experience designing digital products, particularly within e-commerce and subscription-based SaaS businesses, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant case studies.
• Exceptional UX and UI design skills, with the ability to take concepts from discovery through to delivery, ensuring a user-centric approach.
• Proficiency in Figma and other prototyping or whiteboarding tools to create interactive and high-fidelity designs.
• Deep understanding of freemium models and designing experiences that optimize user conversion and retention.
• Experience planning and conducting user research to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities As a Product Designer, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing engaging and user-friendly interfaces for subscription-based digital products, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma or similar tools to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define user flows, features, and overall experience strategies.
• Conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing feedback to refine and improve product designs.
• Implementing best practices in UX/UI design to enhance user engagement, drive conversions, and increase retention.
• Maintaining consistency in design language and ensuring accessibility standards are met across all digital touchpoints.
• Staying updated with industry trends and emerging design techniques to continually enhance the quality of work.
