We’re looking for a Visual Designer to join Cutback, the AI video editing assistant that’s redefining how creators edit.

Cutback is an AI-powered video editing tool that understands speech and context in your footage, automatically removing silences, generating captions, and editing multi-camera clips. By cutting out repetitive and time-consuming tasks, we help creators focus on what matters most: creative storytelling. Today, Cutback is trusted by professional editors worldwide, from Netflix production studios to YouTubers with millions of subscribers.

We’re not just building technology, we’re delivering AI experiences that reach real users every day. Now, we’re looking for a designer to bring our brand and marketing visuals to life as we continue our global journey.

What you’ll do

  • Contribute to defining and evolving Cutback’s visual identity, ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints
  • Partner with creative, marketing, and content teams to articulate strong design concepts and translate ideas into compelling visuals
  • Drive the visual direction for YouTube content, thumbnails, social media, and performance marketing creatives
  • Elevate storytelling and clarity through intelligent, concept-driven visual design
  • Support post-production by creating and refining visual assets for video and digital campaigns

Minimum qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in visual, brand, or marketing design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating visually engaging, high-quality design work
  • Solid understanding of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to clearly communicate design rationale and collaborate across teams

Nice to have

  • Experience contributing to global brand or marketing campaigns
  • Familiarity with motion and video workflows (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
  • Experience working in startups or fast-paced, iterative environments

Contract details

  • Fully remote
  • Contract engagement starting at 3 months
  • Compensation based on experience and interview outcomes
