Remote (Australia-wide) | Full-Time | Automotive Aftermarket
Fuel Economy Solutions Pty Ltd is a leading importer and distributor of automotive aftermarket products, proudly Australian-run since 2013. We're the team behind two brands that are genuinely well-regarded in their niches — ScanGauge Australia and AZscanners — trusted by workshops, retailers, fleets, and everyday car owners right across the country.
We're growing, and this role is a big part of that next chapter. Join us now and you're not stepping into a rigid, corporate structure — you're stepping into a small, fast-moving team where your work is seen, your ideas matter, and your growth is genuinely tied to the company's growth.
- Real variety, every single day. One call is a workshop tech deep in a fitment question, the next is a fleet manager troubleshooting on the road, the next is a first-time customer buying their very first scan tool. If you thrive on variety and switching gears fast, this is your kind of role.
- Real ownership, real trust. This is a small team, which means direct access to the people making decisions and zero bureaucracy slowing you down. You'll own your customers and your outcomes end-to-end — not just a slice of a process.
- Real room to grow. We're actively looking for someone who wants to grow with us — more responsibility, more product knowledge, more impact as we scale. This isn't a seat-filler role; it's a foundation for where you go next.
- Real flexibility, real trust. Fully remote, work from anywhere in Australia. We trust you to manage your day — and you'll always have a tight-knit team backing you up when it counts.
If you're excited by fast-moving, hands-on, full-time work where no two days look the same — we want to hear from you.
We're looking for a mid-level Technical Sales & After-Sales Support Specialist to join our team. This is a dual-focus role: you'll drive new and repeat sales by providing technical, product-level advice to trade and retail customers, and you'll own the after-sales relationship — resolving issues, managing warranty/returns processes, and turning support interactions into repeat business.
This role suits someone who already speaks the language of automotive parts and workshops — someone who can explain fitment, compatibility, or a product spec confidently, and who genuinely enjoys solving a customer's problem rather than just closing a ticket.
- Respond to inbound sales enquiries and proactively follow up on quotes, leads, and existing accounts
- Provide technical advice on product fitment, specifications, and compatibility to workshops, resellers, and end customers
- Manage the after-sales process: warranty claims, returns, technical troubleshooting, and complaint resolution
- Build and maintain relationships with repeat trade customers (mechanics, workshops, resellers)
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during support interactions
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM — pipeline, customer notes, resolution outcomes
- Liaise with suppliers/manufacturers on technical queries or warranty disputes when needed
- Report on sales activity, customer satisfaction trends, and recurring product issues
- 3–6 years' experience in technical sales, customer support, or account management — automotive aftermarket experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of automotive parts, systems, or accessories (a trade background, parts interpreting experience, or prior dealership/aftermarket sales experience is a strong plus)
- Confidence handling technical conversations with tradespeople
- A track record of managing the full customer lifecycle: selling, then supporting, then retaining
- Strong written and verbal communication — you'll be doing this over phone, email, and a helpdesk tool
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setup, with good self-management and follow-through
- Right to work in Australia
- $65,000–$75,000 base + superannuation, commensurate with experience
- Performance-based incentives on top of base — rewarding both sales results and customer retention/satisfaction
- Fully remote role — work from anywhere in Australia, no relocation required
- Genuine autonomy — manage your own day, backed by a small, responsive team when you need support
- Real career growth — as the company scales, so does your scope and responsibility; this is a foundational hire, not a static seat
- Direct access to decision-makers — no red tape, your ideas and feedback are heard and acted on
- Ongoing product and technical training — you'll be supported to build deep expertise across our brands and range, not thrown in unsupported
- Standard full-time entitlements — annual leave, personal/sick leave, and superannuation in line with the Fair Work Act and NES
- Equipment provided — laptop and any tools needed to do the job properly from day one
