My client, Digitech Computer, is seeking a Patient Call Center Specialist to work remotely full time.
Digitech is seeking a representative to handle patient calls that come into the Patient Call Center line.
The representative will he helping patients understand their ambulance bill, discuss payment options and accept payment over the phone. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a call center with a daily quota to meet, and have knowledge of health insurance, copays, deductibles and EOB's.
This position is part of a remote Call Center, and requires an individual who demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and accountability, and the ability to stay calm under pressure and
handle large call volumes. This is a full-time direct hire position.
This is a fully remote position. Work from the comfort of your home. All necessary equipment will be provided so you can succeed in the role.

Responsibilities
- Answer heavy call volume in a remote call center environment
- Make outbound calls to patients with outstanding balances to discuss payment options and obtain health insurance information
- Answer patient questions and address concerns in a friendly and empathetic manner
- Forward calls as necessary to alternate billing departments
- Determine resolutions to customer issues while adhering to our client rules and expectations
- Follow through with all requests, which may require calling alternate parties, emailing or faxing information
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with patient invoicing from the provider side
- Strong computer skills with a basic understanding of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
- Ability to handle large volumes of work while meeting tight deadlines
- Experience in an environment where calls were monitored and scored as well as metrics applied to individual performance is helpful
- Ability to deal calmly and effectively with situations via telephone while maintaining and promoting a positive company image
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to present information and solutions in a professional and courteous manner
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to complete all work assigned

The pay range for this role is $18-20/hr., depending on experience
