Haystack is hiring on behalf of Arrow ElectronicsBusiness Development ManagerUnited Kingdom (Fully Remote)Description

Their Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) division delivers advanced technology and channel services for leading manufacturers and partners worldwide.

They’re now looking for a Business Development Manager - VMware to join their UK team. This is an opportunity to work with one of the industry’s most influential technology vendors, developing profitable partnerships and driving growth across the VMware ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

  • Actively drive sales and develop profitable channel partners for VMware.
  • Support Arrow ECS sales teams by providing business development, enablement, and product training.
  • Build and manage relationships with VMware sales teams to ensure Arrow’s involvement in key opportunities.
  • Develop business within existing resellers and onboard new partners that align with Arrow and VMware objectives.
  • Maintain a proactive, collaborative relationship with VMware to identify and close new opportunities.
  • Contribute to forecasting, performance tracking, and territory planning to meet and exceed vendor targets.

About you

  • 2+ years of sales or business development experience with a strong track record of achieving targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of VMware technologies (NSX, vSAN, VeloCloud) and related virtualization or networking solutions.
  • Confident discussing technical products and solutions with customers and partners.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, drive growth, and develop new business relationships.
  • Self-motivated, structured, and proactive with a strong commercial mindset.
