Corporate Risk & Health Account Manager
Location: Fully Remote – UK
Salary: up to £45k
Are you an experienced Employee Benefits, Group Risk or Healthcare professional looking for a genuinely fully remote opportunity?
I’m recruiting for a Corporate Risk & Health Account Manager to join an established Employee Benefits team, supporting a Consultant who manages a c.£300k fee/commission portfolio of corporate clients.
This is a client-focused role where you’ll be a key day-to-day contact for corporate clients, helping to manage their Group Risk and Healthcare benefits and ensuring they receive a professional and responsive service.
You’ll work closely with the Consultant rather than being responsible for generating your own book of business, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Manager, Client Manager, Client Executive or Senior Employee Benefits Administrator who enjoys the client-facing side of the role.
What you'll be doing
You’ll support a portfolio of corporate clients across Group Life, Group Income Protection, Critical Illness and Private Medical Insurance/Healthcare, with responsibilities including:
- Acting as a key day-to-day contact for corporate clients
- Supporting the Consultant with the management of a c.£300k fee/commission book
- Managing scheme renewals and re-broking exercises
- Obtaining quotations and negotiating with insurers/providers
- Preparing quote specifications and reviewing insurer terms
- Producing renewal and review reports
- Managing new business and supporting client onboarding
- Completing on-risk documentation
- Supporting clients through underwriting requirements
- Assisting with claims and ongoing scheme queries
- Maintaining accurate client records and scheme information
- Supporting clients with the ongoing management of their employee benefit schemes
- Liaising regularly with clients, consultants, insurers and providers
- Working with internal teams to ensure a seamless service
- Ensuring regulatory, compliance and AML requirements are met
- Keeping up to date with the Group Risk and Healthcare market and insurer propositions
- Using systems and technology, including Excel, to support scheme management and reporting
What were looking for
- Experience across Group Risk and Healthcare/PMI
- Knowledge of Group Life, Income Protection and Critical Illness
- Experience supporting or managing corporate clients
- Exposure to renewals and re-broking
- Experience obtaining and reviewing insurer quotations
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and providers
- Strong relationship-management and communication skills
- Good organisation and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- A solid understanding of the wider Employee Benefits market
- Strong attention to detail and a client-first approach
