- Must have 2 years previous NDIS Support Coordination experience and knowledge of the Illawarra/Shoalhaven region.
- Experience providing high quality client centered NDIS support coordination, knowledge of the NDIA and its processes (essential).
- Passionate about supporting people with Psychosocial and physical health disabilities and want to make a difference in people's lives. You value our ethics of empowerment, dignity, respect and the importance of independence.
- Passionate about providing person centered support with drive and passion.
- Ability to independently problem solve
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good team work and customer service skills
- NDIS worker Screening check or the ability to obtain. Authority to work in Australia.
- The following skills/attributes are viewed favorably: Degree in Allied Health or a Certificate 3 or 4 in Disability, Welfare, Community Services, Mental Health and/or any other related courses.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- We are looking for a NDIS support coordinator to work closely with our Client Care Coordinator, to support clients in the Illawarra region. Promoting the NDIS support coordination service to the market.
- This is a multi-faceted role with the successful candidate being responsible for assisting new and existing clients with their NDIS plans and coordinate their services and supports.
