I'm working with a well-established UK technology business that's hiring a Reconciliations Assistant for its finance operations team. It's a fully remote, 12-month contract paying £26,250.
You'd join a small team that makes sure payments to the business's partners and suppliers are accurate. It suits someone who likes numbers, enjoys finding the root cause of a discrepancy, and works well to fixed deadlines.
The role
- Weekly and monthly account reconciliations ahead of payment runs
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies with third parties and internal teams
- Handling account queries clearly and promptly
- Building and maintaining Excel reports and producing MI for the business
- Using AI and automation tools to improve routine processes
You'll bring
- Either experience in reconciliations, purchase ledger or accounts payable, or a degree and a strong interest in finance
- Confident Excel skills, ideally including lookups and working with large datasets
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage your own workload remotely
- Good communication skills with people at every level
