We’re looking for a creative visionary and strategic thinker to lead Instinct’s brand into its next chapter. As Director of Brand, you’ll own the evolution and execution of our brand strategy across every touchpoint—from web to product to events and beyond. You’ll lead a talented team of designers and brand creatives, ensuring our visual identity, storytelling, and brand experience consistently reflect who we are: a company on a mission to support veterinary professionals and elevate care. This is a leadership role for someone who can think big, sweat the details, and bring others along for the ride. What You’ll Do đŸ±â€đŸ’»

  • Set the vision: Define and evolve Instinct’s brand identity to match our growing platform, our values, and the transformation we’re driving in the veterinary industry
  • Lead the team: Oversee and mentor our in-house design team, including graphic designers, brand creatives, and freelancers
  • Drive consistency: Ensure brand alignment across all marketing channels, sales materials, product surfaces, and customer experiences
  • Bring campaigns to life: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver bold, effective brand campaigns that support awareness, engagement, and conversion goals
  • Own the brief process: Lead the development of clear, actionable creative briefs that connect strategy to execution—ensuring every project starts with alignment and ends with impact
  • Build the brand system: Establish scalable brand guidelines, templates, and systems to help the entire company build on-brand content with ease
  • Be our aesthetic North Star: From the typography on our site to the tone of our tradeshow booths—you’ll shape how Instinct shows up in the world

Who You Are đŸ±â€đŸ’»

  • Must Haves:
  • 8+ years of experience in brand design, creative direction, or visual communications (bonus if you’ve led a brand refresh or replatform)
  • Deep experience with brand systems, storytelling, and scaling visual identities across channels
  • Proven leadership skills—you’ve built and led creative teams and know how to bring out the best in others
  • A sharp eye and high standards for design craft, but also pragmatism—you know how to move fast without sacrificing quality
  • Comfort working in a growing, fast-paced environment (start-up or tech experience a plus)
  • Strong communication skills—you can clearly articulate the “why” behind design decisions and collaborate across marketing, product, and leadership teams
  • A beautiful portfolio of brand work that shows off your range and thinking
  • Data driven approach to brand strategy
  • Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience working in health, medical, veterinary, or B2B SaaS
  • Familiarity with Figma, Webflow, or other design and no-code platforms
