We’re now looking for a General Manager – Talent & Operations to join us in this newly created, high-impact role.
About the Role
As our General Manager – Talent & Operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the next stage of LOD’s growth. You’ll oversee the end-to-end talent lifecycle, optimise client delivery, drive operational excellence, and ensure seamless alignment between client needs and deployed talent.
This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and enjoys building scalable systems, relationships and processes that support growth.
You’ll partner with the broader LOD leadership team to:
· Oversee the full talent pipeline – from sourcing and onboarding through to engagement and performance.
· Drive operational efficiency across client delivery, contracts, and commercial workflows.
· Lead continuous improvement initiatives across systems, tech and processes.
· Partner with our finance teams to ensure smooth commercial operations.
· Support business development efforts through proactive outreach and opportunity management.
· Create an exceptional experience for our team, clients and partners.
About You
You’re a commercially minded, people-first operator who thrives in a collaborative, high-trust environment. You bring structure, accountability and energy to everything you do, and you genuinely enjoy building strong relationships across teams.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in talent management, business operations or professional services leadership.
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of driving operational excellence.
- Confidence engaging with senior executives, boards, and clients.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working in ambiguity, with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, HubSpot or similar systems; tech-savvy with an interest in AI-enabled process improvement.
- A genuine ownership mindset — you lead yourself as you expect others to lead.
