Employment Solicitor - Interim - Fully Remote Working

This progressive law firm was founded with a clear ambition: to create an environment where lawyers can focus on delivering excellent advice to clients, supported by dedicated teams who remove administrative and operational distractions. That philosophy remains central to the firm’s culture today.

An established and well‑regarded employment partner within the firm is seeking an experienced Interim Employment Solicitor (8+ PQE) to join their busy team.

The Role

The position focuses on contentious employment matters, with particular emphasis on discrimination and equality‑related claims. The successful candidate will advise a diverse client base, including senior executives and commercial organisations operating across a range of sectors such as transport, marketing, and technology.

Experience of advocacy is welcomed but not essential.

About You

This opportunity would suit a solicitor who:

  • Has a minimum of 8 years’ post‑qualification experience
  • Trained and progressed within a reputable regional or City firm
  • Has a strong track record in contentious employment work, including:
  • Drafting and responding to tribunal claims
  • Preparing witness statements and managing disclosure
  • Advising and liaising directly with clients
  • Can confidently “hit the ground running”
  • Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues alike
  • Enjoys contributing to business development and relationship‑building
  • Is a collaborative team player who can also work independently
  • Manages deadlines well while maintaining excellent attention to detail

Working Arrangements

The role offers a high degree of flexibility, with the ability to work remotely for the majority of the time, alongside optional access to a UK office when required.

Why Apply?

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer keen to work alongside a growing and forward‑thinking team!
