• Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports in line with statutory requirements.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all reconciliations are completed.
• Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.
• Provide financial insights and support to senior leadership for decision-making purposes.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor team members within the Accounting & Finance department.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Streamline financial systems and processes for increased efficiency.

The Successful ApplicantA Successful Financial Accounting Manager Should Have

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CA.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Experience in leading and mentoring a team in an accounting function.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• A commitment to working within the not-for-profit industry.
