We’re currently hiring for a Marketing & Social Media Associate to help grow ONO’s digital presence and connect with our community across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm (90-day review)

Location: Remote (09:00AM-5:00PM EST)

Role Overview

The Marketing Associate is responsible for ONO’s organic social presence and online community engagement. This role blends thoughtful content strategy with daily hands-on execution. You’ll oversee the content calendar, create and edit content, coordinate with creators and agencies, and actively build community through social media, DMs, and comments. You’ll work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure ONO’s tone and presence are consistent, supportive, and human.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute organic and campaign content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
  • Craft engaging captions and edit videos to reflect ONO’s calm, clever, and credible brand voice.
  • Align content strategies with product launches and marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing Director.
  • Oversee UGC and creator content pipelines, ensuring assets are reviewed, organized, and properly tracked.
  • Coordinate production workflows with creators, photographers, and editors to deliver high-quality, on-brand content.
  • Maintain and optimize marketing calendars and project trackers in Monday.com for seamless team coordination.
  • Analyze social performance metrics and translate insights into actionable content and engagement improvements.
  • Foster community relationships by responding to DMs, comments, and mentions with thoughtful, on-brand communication.
  • Drive influencer and creator partnerships, managing outreach, seeding, and collaboration logistics.
  • Stay ahead of social and design trends to keep ONO’s content innovative, relevant, and engaging.

Skills

  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to plan content calendars, manage timelines, and coordinate with the marketing team.
  • Social Media Strategy: Deep understanding of platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and trends to drive engagement and reach.
  • Writing & Storytelling: Excellent writing ability to craft captions and narratives that connect with the ONO audience.
  • Community Engagement: Skilled at building authentic relationships and fostering a positive, supportive community.
  • Analytics: Proficient with social media insights tools to track performance and guide strategy.
  • Content Creation: Experienced in producing engaging photo, video, and graphic content that aligns with ONO’s visual style.
  • Design & Editing Tools: Working knowledge of tools like Photoshop, Canva, and CapCut.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and creative partners.
  • Adaptability: Quick to identify and apply new trends to keep content fresh and relevant.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years in social media, content creation, or community management (consumer product experience preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience and skills are equally valued.
  • Portfolio: Examples of successful posts, campaigns, or community initiatives that show creativity and strategy.
  • Customer Focus: Strong sense of community and customer care in all interactions.
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiar with SEO and content marketing principles to support broader marketing goals.

Compensation & GrowthPhase 1: Trial Period (0–90 days)

  • Hourly compensation based on experience. This phase focuses on evaluating task execution, cross-functional communication, and fit within the team 20-40 hrs/week.

Phase 2: Transition to Full-Time (Post-90 days)

  • Upon successful completion of the initial trial period, the role will convert to a salaried, full-time position. Baseline monthly salary will be established based on market benchmarks, scope of work, and candidate performance.
