About the Opportunity:
This position provides internal support and builds relationships with assigned customers and sales consultants. It assists with account support and maintenance, including ordering, product information, quotes, and customer service issues. The role promotes efficiency and expedites requests to increase satisfaction while supporting divisional initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Build customer relationships by addressing requests related to Customer Care designations
• Provide promotional information and services to customers and sales consultants
• Respond to customer and sales team inquiries via phone, email, and fax regarding order processing, shipment tracking, invoicing, product information, pricing, reporting, and special orders
• Handle customer service issues including return authorizations, credits, shipment tracing, and short shipment claims
• Assist with account maintenance tasks such as new account setup, address changes, account closures, EDI, account assignments, website logins, credit, and verifications
• Create quotes and bids for sales consultants
• Collaborate with internal departments and distribution centers to resolve post-order inquiries and expedite orders
• Contact manufacturers for warranty, product, technical, and return information; track drop ship and cross-dock items
• Notify sales consultants and management of unusual customer concerns requiring additional support
• Provide sales support activities for the U.S. Specialty Distribution Group as needed
• Attend meetings and participate in required training programs
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Typically 4 or more years of related experience
• High School education, vocational training, or on-the-job training required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Medical product knowledge preferred
• Microsoft Office knowledge preferred
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Customer service orientation with ability to resolve complex issues

Compensation:
• Salary range $44,150 - $68,985 ($21.23 - $33.17 per hour), depending on experience, education, skills, location, and other factors
