About the Opportunity:
The Data Analyst IV - Advanced Analytics & Reporting is a senior-level role responsible for performing advanced data analysis, maintaining high data quality, and delivering actionable insights that support operational decision-making. This position strengthens the organization’s analytics capabilities through advanced reporting, data validation, process automation, and technical mentorship.
Responsibilities:
• Perform advanced SQL analysis to identify trends, patterns, and key performance drivers.
• Develop predictive and trend analyses to support planning and operational decision-making.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
• Develop reusable analytical methods, frameworks, and standardized approaches.
• Design and execute data validation, reconciliation, and quality audits.
• Establish, document, and maintain data quality rules and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to investigate and resolve data quality issues.
• Monitor data quality indicators and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports.
• Create accessible data narratives, summaries, and visualizations for non-technical audiences.
• Implement Power Automate workflows to streamline reporting and operational processes.
• Support self-service analytics by ensuring data accuracy, usability, and consistency.
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Collaborate on data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Contribute to the development of future analytics solutions and capabilities.
• Mentor junior data analysts and review analytical work for quality and accuracy.
• Share analytics best practices and support onboarding, training, and skill development.
Requirements:
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex query development and performance tuning.
• Strong Power BI experience, including semantic modeling, DAX, and dashboard development.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Experience using Power Automate to develop operational and reporting workflows.
• Strong understanding of data quality, validation, reconciliation, governance, and documentation.
• Experience performing predictive, trend, and performance analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex technical and analytical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data integrity, accuracy, and problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts, developers, and program staff.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of health and human services or government/public-sector environments.
• Experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, and Oracle platforms.
• Proficiency with R, Python, SPSS, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Preferred certifications include Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant, Certified Analytics Professional, IIBA Certification in Business Data Analytics, or DAMA Certified Data Management Professional.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Monthly salary range of $5,425.33–$7,155.75.
