Business Analyst

We're looking for a Business Analyst to join an Agile delivery team working remotely (nearshore) for our client, a major Japanese vehicle manufacturer with a global presence. You'll be the go-to person for making sense of business needs, turning them into clear, structured requirements, and making sure everyone, from devs to testers, knows what to build, how and why. This isn't a hands-off role. You'll be in the thick of it: running workshops, writing user stories, asking the questions no one thought to ask and keeping projects on track. If you're someone who likes to bring order to chaos, spot what's missing and get things moving, then you're already 80% there. You'll work closely with stakeholders in Belgium (remotely), but you'll be based somewhere else in Europe. No travel required. This is a contractor/freelance position. To.Scale will act as your Employer of Record (EOR), handling all the admin so you can focus on doing the actual work. Key Responsibilities

• Gather, clarify, and document business and system requirements across multiple stakeholder groups
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to align on expectations and remove ambiguity in requirements
• Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with developers and testers to support development and test validation
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning)
• Analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements
• Create clear, concise documentation using Jira, Confluence, and related tools
• Support the delivery of secure, legally compliant solutions that meet customer expectations

Tech Stack & Tools Experience with the following is preferred (but not mandatory):

• Project management & documentation: Jira, Confluence, SharePoint
• ITSM awareness: ServiceNow familiarity is a plus
• Agile/DevOps environments: Prior experience working in Agile delivery setups

Benefits Your daily rate is based on 220 working days per year. This will be converted into a fixed monthly fee that already includes your paid time off, meaning you're not just paid for the days you log, but also for your vacation days and local bank holidays.
