Sound Designer – Remote

This is an opportunity to contribute to a unique, independent art film project intended for submission to a major international film festival. The film, with a runtime of 4.5 hours, requires a skilled audio engineer to oversee the final sound design, dialogue editing, mixing, and mastering. The project is driven by a team of passionate filmmakers and artists, and is operating on a limited budget. The ideal candidate will be able to work remotely and deliver high-quality results within a tight deadline. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive sound design for a feature-length art film, ensuring a cohesive and immersive audio experience
• Edit and clean up dialogue tracks for clarity and consistency throughout the film
• Execute final mixing and mastering to meet professional festival submission standards
• Collaborate with the creative team to interpret the artistic vision and integrate feedback efficiently
• Manage and organize audio files, maintaining a streamlined workflow for a large-scale project
• Deliver all final audio assets within the agreed timeline

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience in sound design, dialogue editing, and audio post-production for film or similar long-form content
• Proficiency with industry-standard audio software such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or similar DAWs
• Strong understanding of mixing and mastering techniques for cinematic projects
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a remote team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when handling large volumes of audio material
• Availability to start immediately and commit to meeting a fast-approaching deadline
• Prior experience with art films or festival submissions is a plus
• Remote work capability with reliable internet access
