Program Manager
Our client is seeking a Program Manager to lead a high-impact, enterprise-level finance program within a complex, cross-functional environment. This individual will play a critical role in driving program execution, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership presence, capable of navigating ambiguity, influencing across teams, and maintaining momentum in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Utah, or Idaho and work PST hours.
- Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a large-scale, multi-workstream program, ensuring alignment to strategic goals, timelines, and budget expectations.
- Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, including scope, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee interdependencies across multiple projects, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and driving coordinated execution across teams.
- Partner closely with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to communicate program status, priorities, and changes.
- Establish and track key performance metrics to monitor progress, ensure quality outcomes, and recommend course corrections as needed.
- Guide and support project managers within the program, ensuring consistency in delivery approach, tools, and reporting standards.
- Facilitate decision-making by providing clear insights into program health, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive program or project management experience, including leadership of large, complex initiatives (e.g., $10M+ programs with sizable teams).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs within a matrixed organization, partnering effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with interdependencies, including risk assessment and contingency planning.
- Strong knowledge of program and project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches.
- Proficiency with program management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar are preferred.
