About the Role
As a Bid Writer, you will play a pivotal role in the business development process by producing compelling, client-focused proposals and tender submissions. You will collaborate closely with our Bid Manager, sales team, designers, and project teams to ensure our bids are persuasive, well-structured, and aligned with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and format high-quality bid responses, proposals, and presentations.
- Analyse tender documents and extract key requirements to inform bid strategy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical and commercial input.
- Maintain and update a library of bid content, case studies, and project references.
- Ensure all submissions are compliant, professionally presented, and delivered on time.
- Support post-submission activities including clarifications and presentations.

What We’re Looking ForEssential:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in bid writing, preferably within the interiors, fit-out, or construction sectors.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of tendering processes and procurement frameworks.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Drivers Licence, willingness to travel.
Desirable:
- A degree in Creative Writing, English, Business Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Graphic design/visual presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
- Proficiency in Monday.com.
- Awareness of AI platforms (e.g., CoPilot).
- Understanding of commercial environments or public sector procurement.
- Knowledge of sustainability and ESG considerations in construction projects.
