SOC Analyst / Information Security / Security Engineer

Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for a SOC Analyst / Information Security / Security Engineer. The role involves monitoring and responding to cybersecurity threats, conducting cyber threat hunting and analysis, generating actionable insights through threat intelligence, and enhancing the security posture of the organization's infrastructure. Responsibilities also include contributing to the design and implementation of security measures to mitigate vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding and experience in Cyber Threat Hunting (CTH) and Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI)
• Proficiency in Security Operations Center practices and methodologies, with knowledge of operational cybersecurity
• Excellent Analytical Skills to identify and assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities
• Background in Cybersecurity, with familiarity in incident response and remediation processes
• Demonstrated ability to work remotely and independently, with effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar are a plus
• Experience working in AI-driven cybersecurity environments would be advantageous
