We're currently partnering with a fast-growing international technology business looking to hire a Head of Accounting to join and develop their central finance function. It's an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a key area of accounting within a growing technology business.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the consolidation process across the Group.
- Review and improve existing accounting processes, controls and systems to support the continued growth of the business.
- Manage a small team of accountants.
- Own the monthly group reporting process, including reporting to senior stakeholders
- Lead the Group Accounting function, overseeing the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and take ownership of implementing improvements across the accounting function.
What we're looking for
- Extensive audit experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and HGB.
- Experience with group consolidation and financial reporting.
- Previous people leadership experience, or a strong desire to take the next step into a team leadership role.
