Position Overview

A growing North American contract manufacturing company is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Sr. Manager – PMO Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across product development, operations, commercialization, and supply chain. This fully remote role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth, agile environments and can drive clarity, alignment, and delivery at every phase of the product lifecycle.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role requiring strong program management skills, proactive communication, and the ability to lead multiple concurrent initiatives involving R&D, Supply Chain, QA, Sales, and external partners. You’ll ensure strategic execution while navigating ambiguity with confidence and structure.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead end-to-end project execution of cross-functional programs from concept to commercialization

·        Own and manage detailed project plans, critical paths, and milestone tracking

·        Identify risks early, remove roadblocks, and manage change across stakeholders

·        Facilitate recurring cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and accountability

·        Serve as the primary liaison between departments, leadership, and external partners

·        Implement and refine governance frameworks, status reports, and KPI dashboards

·        Report on project progress, risks, and results to senior leadership

·        Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO tools, templates, and best practices

·        Mentor junior project team members or assist with function development, as needed

Ideal Background

·        Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field

·        Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Project Management or similar) strongly preferred

·        7+ years of project/program management experience, including 3+ years in enterprise-level setting

·        Worked in contract manufacturing, consumer products (CPG), or regulated production environments

·        Proven ability to manage complex timelines, multiple priorities, and diverse stakeholders

·        Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills

·        Proficiency in tools like Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or MS Project

·        Ability to lead in fast-paced, ambiguous, and growth-focused settings
