Senior Manager of Financial Reporting | Remote (EST, CST)Opportunity: Contract (3-6 months) Location: Fully Remote (EST or CST only) Pay: $80/hr – $110/hr Schedule: Mon-Fri, some overtime expected during monthly financial reporting close period to meet strict deadlines About the Job: CRG is partnering with a logistics client on their search for a new, fully remote Senior Manager of Financial Reporting for a 3-6 month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for consolidated financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, and leading senior-level staff in a multi-entity environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze consolidated monthly regional internal financial reporting package, providing explanations of results which highlight trends, variances, and key business drivers.
- Manage regional consolidation for multiple entities and resolve issues that arise.
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries, utilizing Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
- Compile and prepare financial data to support 10-Q and 10-K disclosures.
- Research, analyze, and review complex technical accounting matters and document conclusions.
- Record accounting analyses and conclusions in quarterly accounting memos.
- Prepare financial analyses to support ad hoc requests, such as customer proposals and/or customer reporting requirements.
- Support annual audit testing and quarterly review activities, serving as a main point of contact for external auditors.
- Ensure strong internal controls over financial reporting comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, including disclosure controls and procedures.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop senior-level staff.
Qualifications_Required:_
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting with heavy exposure to multi-entity consolidations and preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Proficiency with HFM for consolidations and eliminations.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar report generation and visualization tools.
- Ability to work and problem-solve independently, reorganize workload and priorities, manage direct reports, and complete tasks on time.
Preferred:
- CPA.
- Public accounting experience in audit/advisory, working with large clients.
- Technical accounting experience.
- Logistics and/or transportation industry experience.
