Position: Neapolitan Language Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $30 - $80/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level Neapolitan language guidance to support AI model development and evaluation.
• Translate written content between Neapolitan and English, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural authenticity.
• Review, edit, and refine Neapolitan texts for clarity, correctness, and stylistic consistency.
• Create and annotate diverse real-world examples to enrich language datasets.
• Evaluate and suggest improvements for existing translations and language models.
• Collaborate with the customer's team to deliver high-quality, meaningful linguistic input.

Requirements

• Have native fluency in Neapolitan with advanced proficiency in English.
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication abilities in both languages.
• Have a strong background in writing, editing, and translation tasks.
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail and a commitment to linguistic accuracy.
• Be able to convey cultural and contextual meanings effectively.
• Have proven experience handling diverse dialects or regional language variants.
