Role Description This is a part-time, remote HR Support Officer role open to candidates based in Australia only. The HR Support Officer will assist with drafting and updating job descriptions, posting roles, and supporting candidate screening activities. Daily tasks include maintaining HR records, coordinating online interviews, responding to basic candidate and employee inquiries, and supporting the implementation of HR policies and procedures. The role also involves assisting with employee relations documentation, preparing standard HR communications, and helping ensure compliance with internal guidelines. The position is entry-level and provides training, making it suitable for individuals starting their career in Human Resources.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) principles and interest in developing a career in HR.
- Skills in HR Management and understanding of HR Policies to support basic HR operations.
- Ability to assist with Employee Relations by documenting cases, tracking issues, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Experience or strong aptitude in Job Description Development and updating role profiles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort using remote collaboration tools, HR systems, and standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing).
- Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently with guidance.
- Based in Australia with legal authorization to work and availability to collaborate across time zones.
- Certificate, diploma, or coursework in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
