Transactional Specialist | Remote

Position: Transactional / Regulatory Associate Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $180–$200 per hour CommitmentRole Responsibilities

• Draft realistic legal research questions based on transactional and regulatory practice scenarios
• Develop research problems related to corporate transactions, securities regulation, administrative law, and compliance frameworks
• Incorporate jurisdiction-specific statutory and regulatory interpretation in legal research prompts
• Frame issues requiring synthesis of statutory text, agency guidance, case law, and legislative materials where relevant
• Ensure questions reflect real client-driven legal matters rather than abstract academic hypotheticals
• Clearly scope legal research problems so they can be addressed through professional legal analysis

Requirements

• Professional experience in transactional or regulatory legal practice at a law firm
• Strong background interpreting statutes and regulatory frameworks
• Experience researching federal or state regulatory systems
• Ability to clearly structure legal research questions and issues
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory advisory work
• Experience engaging with regulatory agencies or working within regulated industries is beneficial
• Interest in legal technology or AI-related initiatives is advantageous
