Role Overview
- The HR Associate will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR function and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Acting as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries, this role combines administrative responsibilities with involvement in strategic HR projects. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving HR initiatives that align with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries.
- Administer HR documentation, including contracts of employment.
- Maintain and update HR databases to ensure accuracy and compliance with legislation.
- Answer calls to the switchboard and direct as required.
- Act as the first approver for expenses.
- Manage travel and hotel bookings.
- Manage the new starters and leavers processes, including induction planning.
- Review and update HR policies.
- Manage Health and Safety compliance, including DSE assessments.
- Approve holiday requests.
- Administer Breathe HR system.
- Prompt line managers for monthly 1-2-1s and12-month reviews and document these in Breathe HR files.
- Document HR processes for consistency and compliance.
- Work with the Operations Director on HR related projects.

About You
- Sees working remotely as a value-add, not a compromise.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar HR Administration role.
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or above.
Salary
£28,000.00-£30,000.00 (depending on experience).
Hours
This role can be full time or part time (minimum 15 hours a week).
Fixed-term maternity cover contract (6 months).
