Role Description
Intrepidus Law offers high quality and rewarding human rights litigation matters for an experienced legal practitioner to make a very real and positive impact in the lives of disabled Australians. The work we do is impactful, personally rewarding and meaningful. We are proud of the life changing outcomes we achieve for our clients.
Due to the growth of Intrepidus Law, multiple roles are on offer, particularly for lawyers with 5 years + post admission experience and lawyers with 10 years + post admission experience OR experience as a Senior Associate in private practice, in any or all of the following practice areas:
- NDIS law and appeals
- Human Rights
- Disability Discrimination
- Administrative Law
- Public / Government Law
- Litigation
The role is fully flexible and and fully remote (WFH). We will consider both full-time or part time arrangements. The role is for a Senior Solicitor with exceptional client management skills to lead and manage cases in NDIS law and Human / disability rights law. Private practice experience will be highly regarded. Responsibilities include advising and representing clients in legal disputes, drafting legal documents, delivering exceptional legal advice, and providing leadership and mentorship with internal team members to deliver exceptional advocacy. The Senior Solicitor will be expected to handle complex casework and provide leadership in business development, deliver positive client experiences and exceptional client management, and mentoring junior solicitors.
Qualifications / Attributes
- Qualifications in law and unrestricted practicing certificate
- Either 5 years + OR 10 year + post admission experience practicing law
- Commitment to human rights, social justice and advancing the rights of individuals with disabilities
- Exceptional client relationship skills
- Strong capacity for legal writing, negotiation, and case analysis
- A proven track record in client advocacy and delivering high-quality legal services
- Ability to effectively mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth and business development
