A fast-growing consulting firm specializing in software development, digital transformation, human-centered design, data analytics, and cybersecurity is seeking an Associate Technical Recruiter to support its expanding team. This fully remote role is ideal for a motivated recruiter with experience in full-cycle hiring—particularly in government contracting and technical roles—who’s ready to grow with a mission-driven organization.
You’ll play a key role in building high-performing teams across federal and commercial projects. This is a high-impact role requiring a strong sense of ownership, strategic thinking, and adaptability.

Responsibilities
- Handle full-cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles
- Source candidates using job boards, referrals, and networking tools
- Screen for technical fit, culture alignment, and contract-specific needs
- Write job descriptions aligned with role and contract requirements
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand timelines and hiring strategies
- Support proposal hiring efforts with contingent candidates
- Track recruiting activity and maintain pipelines in the ATS (e.g., Greenhouse)
- Represent the company through outreach and employer branding campaigns
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process
- Stay up to date on hiring trends, clearance requirements, and labor market shifts
Requirements
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 1 year in technical or GovCon roles
- Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Familiarity with security clearance processes
- Preference given to candidates based in Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia
