A fast-growing consulting firm specializing in software development, digital transformation, human-centered design, data analytics, and cybersecurity is seeking an Associate Technical Recruiter to support its expanding team. This fully remote role is ideal for a motivated recruiter with experience in full-cycle hiring—particularly in government contracting and technical roles—who’s ready to grow with a mission-driven organization.

You’ll play a key role in building high-performing teams across federal and commercial projects. This is a high-impact role requiring a strong sense of ownership, strategic thinking, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full-cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles
  • Source candidates using job boards, referrals, and networking tools
  • Screen for technical fit, culture alignment, and contract-specific needs
  • Write job descriptions aligned with role and contract requirements
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand timelines and hiring strategies
  • Support proposal hiring efforts with contingent candidates
  • Track recruiting activity and maintain pipelines in the ATS (e.g., Greenhouse)
  • Represent the company through outreach and employer branding campaigns
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process
  • Stay up to date on hiring trends, clearance requirements, and labor market shifts

Requirements

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 1 year in technical or GovCon roles
  • Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Familiarity with security clearance processes
  • Preference given to candidates based in Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia
