100% RemoteJob Title: Workday Payroll & Time/Attendance Functional Consultant

Duration: Long Term

Location: Hybrid (1–2 days onsite weekly, as needed

We are seeking a consultant to lead implementations of Workday Payroll and/or Symplr Workforce Time & Attendance or Kronos, providing expertise across configuration, testing, and deployment.

Implementation consultants should have:

  1. More than 4 years of experience in a full cycle implementation of Workday Payroll and or a Symplr / Workday Time and Attendance system.
  2. Expert in Payroll and Time & Attendance domain as a functional resource.
  3. Example: Proficient in payroll tax compliance, Wage and Hour laws, Overtime requirements, etc.
  4. Good understanding of payroll data and reporting in Workday / Symplr time and attendance system.
  5. Experience with Functional Design, Configuration, Test case preparation, Test execution and remediation, end user training, and documentation.
  6. Excellent communication skills and should be able to represent the function with stakeholders.

Additional Notes:

  • Candidates should be ready to speak to their experience creating test scripts, managing a Workday Change/Time & Attendance system (from start to finish).

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Four (4) - seven (7) years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare or not-for-profit environments
  • More than 4 years of experience in a full cycle implementation of Workday Payroll and or a Symplr / Workday Time and Attendance system.
  • Expert in Payroll and Time & Attendance domain as a functional resource. Example: Proficient in payroll tax compliance, Wage and Hour laws, Overtime requirements, etc.
  • Good understanding of payroll data and reporting in Workday / Symplr time and attendance system.
