Business Analyst – Data & Technology (B2B Media)Day Rate: £400Remote6 month Contract Outside IR35

A leading B2B media organisation is seeking a Data Business Analyst to join its Data & Technology team, supporting data platform, analytics, and integration initiatives across the business.

The role will act as the bridge between commercial, marketing, and technology teams, translating business needs into clear requirements for data engineers, architects, and BI developers within an Agile delivery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business and data requirements across commercial, marketing, and operational teams
• Translate requirements into user stories, data mappings, and functional specifications
• Work closely with data engineering and BI teams to support analytics and reporting solutions
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions
• Support Agile delivery, backlog refinement, and sprint planning
• Assist with UAT and validation of data and reporting solutions

Key experience

• Business Analyst experience on data, analytics, or data platform projects
• Understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data modelling concepts
• Experience producing data flows, mappings, and requirements documentation
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working in Agile environments
