Global eCommerce Manager – OTRA EYEWEAR

We are looking for a Global eCommerce Manager at Otra Eyewear, with a clear focus on website performance, conversion optimisation, customer experience, and digital growth. Someone that is a strategic, data-driven and execution-focused Global eCommerce Manager to lead the evolution of our digital storefront and accelerate our DTC growth across key global markets.

This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of performance marketing, website optimisation, UX, and operations. Your job will be to make sure every touchpoint of our online experience, from the first click to checkout, is optimised for speed, scale, and conversions.

Key Objectives:

  • Increase global DTC sales via Shopify Plus and partner retail portals *_ Optimise our website for speed, creativity & aesthetics, function, and conversion
  • Deliver best-in-class customer experience across digital channels__What You’ll Be Responsible For:__

eCommerce Management & Platform Ownership

  • Manage and continuously enhance our Shopify Plus store: product uploads, collection architecture, page templates, third-party apps, SEO, and back-end integrations
  • Ensure products are loaded accurately and efficiently across all channels, including retail partner portals (e.g. Revolve, The Iconic, David Jones, SPS Commerce)
  • Oversee day-to-day site performance, including uptime, mobile responsiveness, international localisation, and payment/shipping options

Collaborate with developers and designers to troubleshoot issues, build new features, and evolve UX

**

Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) & Site Performance

  • Run end-to-end website audits to identify friction points and drop-off zones using tools like GA4, Hotjar, or Lucky Orange
  • Design and execute A/B testing roadmaps for key areas: home, PDP, PLP, cart, and checkout
  • Improve site speed, navigation flow, and mobile responsiveness to maximise conversion
  • Optimise site structure, filters, and search functionality to improve product discovery
  • Work with content/creative to continuously test layouts, copy, and CTAs for performance impact

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

  • Set up and maintain real-time dashboards that track core KPIs: CVR, AOV, bounce rate, LTV, ROAS, CAC, cart abandonment
  • Own Google Analytics setup and usage (including GA4 events, tagging, and ecommerce tracking)
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for product, marketing, and ops
  • Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness across all channels: organic, paid, and lifecycle

Digital Marketing & Paid Media Collaboration

  • Strategise and execute across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and performance campaigns with internal/external paid ad agencies
  • Ensure seamless integration between paid channels and on-site experience
  • Manage UTM tracking, pixel setup, attribution mapping, and remarketing strategy

Email Marketing & Lifecycle Automation

  • Lead all aspects of Klaviyo – including flow creation (welcome, abandon cart, post-purchase), list hygiene, segmentation, and campaign deployment
  • Analyse open/click/conversion rates to continuously optimise email performance
  • Collaborate on content and testing strategies for both campaign and automation flows

Customer Experience & Post-Purchase Optimisation

  • Identify and improve every step of the customer journey – from homepage to post-delivery touchpoints
  • Work closely with customer service team to implement scalable solutions for FAQs, chat, returns, and product feedback loops
  • Collaborate with fulfilment/ops teams to ensure accurate shipping timelines and frictionless checkout

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years experience in eCommerce management, ideally in DTC fashion, lifestyle, or beauty
  • Advanced expertise with Shopify Plus, including custom theme adjustments and app management
  • Strong working knowledge of GA4, Klaviyo, Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Shopify analytics
  • Proven experience improving site conversion rates, speed, and UX/UI through data-backed strategies
  • Experience managing product catalogues, assets, and digital content across marketplaces and retail partners
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate into clear, measurable actions
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, product, tech, and operations teams
  • Naturally proactive, highly organised, and passionate about optimising digital performance
