Senior Business Development Manager for Paramount Students – Unpaid, RemoteLocation: Remote

Duration: 20 weeks (with potential to transition into a paid role + equity via ESOP)

Overview:

Join Plentora in revolutionizing global student mobility as the Senior Business Development Manager for Paramount Students. Drive the growth of our student recruitment platform by building university partnerships, enhancing the application process, and boosting revenue. This volunteer role offers hands-on experience in shaping a rapidly growing edtech platform, with top performers considered for future paid roles and equity opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically expand Paramount Students' global education market presence.
  • Secure and nurture university partnerships to increase student placements and revenue.
  • Optimize the student application journey through data-driven insights and performance tracking.
  • Conduct market research to refine our value proposition and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Lead negotiations with universities and stakeholders to establish mutually beneficial partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in business development, sales, or partnership management in edtech or related fields.
  • Proven success in achieving growth through strategic partnerships and relationship-building.
  • In-depth knowledge of international student recruitment trends and university admissions.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Prior experience in university partnerships or education platforms is a plus.
