Job Title: Senior SAP S/4HANA Lead
Location: Remote/UK
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Lead for a large-scale, global digital transformation.
Unlike a traditional, siloed Project Manager, this high-urgency leader sits above the execution layers. You will operate across the broader program structure to create visibility, manage complex cross-functional dependencies, enforce accountability, and drive the completion of work required to keep the global standard template on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Milestones: Execute global SAP S/4HANA standard template milestones across the entire program.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Align with PMs, master data leaders, and workstream leads to track deliverables, target dates, and risks.
- Structure Ambiguity: Establish immediate operational structure across complex workstreams where boundaries or ownership are unclear.
- Track End-to-End Dependencies: Monitor alignment across master data, process design, localization, testing, cutover, and deployment.
- Executive Visibility: Provide leadership with comprehensive milestone readiness, risk summaries, and critical escalation paths.
- Action-Oriented Closure: Proactively push continuous follow-through on open action items before they impact major timelines.
Your Profile & Qualifications
- Global ERP Transformation: Proven experience operating within large-scale, multi-country SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Template Delivery Leadership: Direct experience managing how a global standard template is built, governed, localized, and deployed.
- Program Governance: High proficiency in milestone planning, dependency tracking, RAID logs, and RACI frameworks.
- Influence Without Authority: Highly organized and proactive; comfortable driving execution across multiple teams without direct reporting lines.
- Consulting-Style Presence: Excellent communication and confidence to influence and summarize risks for senior leadership.
- ERP Lifecycle Expertise: Deep familiarity with standard phases (Design, Build, Test, Cutover, and Readiness).
This Role is NOT For:
- Workstream-specific PMs who prefer to stay in their own lane.
- SAP Functional Consultants lacking program-level governance experience.
- Passive status reporters or administrative PMs who do not actively drive issue closure.
