Legal Consultant - FinTech (Ref: c-431)

Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking specialist law firm at the heart of the technology and financial services sectors. They provide expert legal counsel to some of the most innovative and rapidly growing fintech companies in the market. Due to sustained growth and increasing client demand, they are expanding their team and are looking for a talented Commercial Lawyer to join them on their journey. This is a newly created position, offering a unique opportunity to become an integral part of a modern, ambitious, and highly respected legal practice. The Role We are seeking a mid-level or senior Commercial Lawyer with a strong background in fintech or financial services. Reporting to one of the firm's Legal Directors, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, pragmatic legal advice to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work on a wide range of commercial matters, helping to guide exciting companies through their growth and success. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex commercial agreements for clients in the fintech space.
• Provide expert and commercially-focused legal advice on matters related to financial technology, including payments, digital assets, and financial regulation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business needs.
• Manage multiple client matters effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with the wider legal team to ensure a seamless and high-quality service.

RequirementsMust-Have:

• A qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, fully authorised by the SRA.
• A minimum of 5-10 years' post-qualification experience gained at a reputable law firm or in-house at a fintech or financial services company.
• Demonstrable expertise in commercial law with a specific focus on the fintech/financial services industry.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with strong commercial acumen.
