LMS Administrator
100% remote working team.
England based, remote / work from home role.
Occasional team meet ups and trips to the Mediterranean.
28-34k.
Learning Management Systems (LMS) Administrator.
This company is evolving a digital learning platform providing blended online training and qualifications for individuals in the yachting and hospitality industry.
With hundreds of courses now available, the company has been growing steadily since 2018 to 40 people and is now set for good growth with a lot of projects in the pipeline and a new platform launch in 2027.
They are already the leaders in their sector, so the role can grow with the team and company growth.
In the Product Development and LMS Tech team the LMS Administrator takes ownership of the day-to-day running of the learning platform (Absorb) — enrolments, learner records, certifications and course operations and supports tutors with the LMS tasks that keep courses moving.
Experience with Absorb is advantageous but not essential — full training will be given.
Running the platform's reporting and data function is an essential part of the role — producing the completion, attendance, certification and course-date reports the team and wider company use.
Working with the course Content Developer you’ll build, developing engaging online training in Articulate Rise 360 and there is a path to grow your e-learning development skills, again full training can be provided.
However, you will need to have a head for process and systems, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well within a small, close-knit remote team.
You’ll also use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Rise AI to speed up content production and support blended learning experiences for both online and in-person delivery, carrying out build testing and learner-experience checks before content reaches QA.
The role also uploads and manages SCORM/xAPI packages, updates course content, and configures courses and learning paths.
You’ll need to be personable for troubleshooting first-line learner and platform issues, resolving what you can and escalating complex fixes to the e-learning Tech Manager.
They are bright, positive, friendly, growing, entrepreneurial team culture. Although they work remotely together across England and Europe, they work in a close-knit team and genuinely support each other - and love their work. Support is constant, you’ll never feel isolated.
They have occasional in-person meet ups at retreats in the UK and Spain – to have fun.
To fit this, they are looking for that positive attitude, good energy, proactive character.
And as a remote working team, the excellent and prompt communications skills are key.
