Responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling meetings, organizing virtual events, and coordinating correspondence via email and phone. The role involves preparing and formatting documents, maintaining digital records and databases, handling basic clerical tasks, and supporting travel and expense processes. The Administrative Assistant will also serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and efficient information flow. This is a full-time remote role, requiring reliable availability during core working hours and effective collaboration with distributed teams.
Qualifications
- Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage scheduling, documentation, and office workflows
- Executive Administrative Assistance experience to support leaders with calendar management, meeting preparation, and follow-up tasks
- Excellent Communication and Phone Etiquette for interacting with students, staff, and external partners in a professional manner
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools) and digital collaboration platforms
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a remote setting
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate reliability and accountability
- Experience in an academic or research environment is an advantage
- Relevant vocational training or a degree in administration, business, or a related field is preferred
