The Compliance Specialist will support the Compliance team in managing and executing compliance protocols within the HR Shared Services Center. This role involves reviewing client background requirements, initiating appropriate screenings, reviewing results, and certifying findings for engagement teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Review background check requirements and initiate appropriate screenings.
  • Analyze and certify screening results to engagement teams.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding experience and compliance
  • Support operational compliance protocols across functions such as:
  • National Debt and Departures
  • Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA)
  • Employment Verification (escalated cases not handled by TALX)
  • Learning Management System (LMS) administration
  • Evaluate compliance issues and recommend solutions within scope.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Senior Associate on complex or sensitive matters.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of related HR or compliance experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with background screening and onboarding processes
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
