Insight Global is seeking a Project Coordinator to support one of our healthcare clients. This will be a 6 month contract, with potential extensions and possible conversion. This will be sitting fully remote in one of the approved states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, North Carolina, or Virginia
Day to day:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for:
-Supporting project managers and teams by coordinating schedules, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among stakeholders.
-Ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within scope. The position may manage lower-complexity projects independently.
-Project planning, executing, and monitoring project activities.
-Tracking timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure adherence to schedules.
-Maintaining accurate project documentation (charters, budgets, schedules, RAID logs).
-Managing lower-complexity projects as assigned.
-Acting as the primary contact for internal teams and external partners regarding project status.
-Scheduling and coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.
-Facilitating cross-departmental communication to resolve issues promptly.
-Supporting budget tracking and expenditure monitoring.
-Coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed.
-Monitoring risks, issues, actions, and decisions; assist in mitigation strategies.
Escalating unresolved issues to project managers.
-Preparing status reports and dashboards for leadership review.
-Analyzing performance data and support post-project reviews.
Must Haves:
-4+ years of overall experience and recent experience in Project Coordination
-Highly organized, energetic, and strong communication is a must
-Ideally generic healthcare and/or health plan(insurance) experience
-Past working in an environment with multiple projects going on at once
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
