Dayforce Payroll ManagerRemote (South East UK)c.£60K
This is a hands-on payroll leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the detail whilst also managing and developing a small team. You'll take ownership of the end-to-end payroll operation, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time whilst driving process consistency, compliance and continuous improvement.
Managing one direct report, you'll act as the payroll subject matter expert across the business, partnering with stakeholders to ensure payroll processes are followed, data is accurate, and employees receive an exceptional service.
*Please note - to be considered for this role, you must have experience with Dayforce*Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.
- Processing and overseeing payroll changes including salary amendments, overtime, commissions, deductions and statutory payments.
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC, pension and payroll legislation requirements.
- Reconciling payroll data and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and audit trails.
- Acting as the first point of contact for payroll queries and escalations.
- Managing and developing a Payroll Administrator.
- Supporting managers with payroll processes, deadlines and best practice.
- Identifying opportunities to improve payroll controls, efficiency and accuracy.
- Building strong relationships with HR, Finance and operational stakeholders.
To be considered, you'll have:
- Strong experience working within Dayforce (essential).
- Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll.
- Solid knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience working within a multi-site or complex payroll environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Previous experience managing, mentoring or supporting junior payroll colleagues.
