The Role
We're hiring a Content Creator to own the look, feel, and voice of Nothing's social presence.
This is not a “post 3x a week” role. This role is about:
- Making content people actually want to watch, save, and share
- Understanding what resonates with café owners, baristas, and sustainability-minded consumers
- Bringing a consistent creative vision to everything we put out
- Turning our mission into stories that move people
You'll be the creative engine behind our Instagram and TikTok, working closely with our founders, editor, and graphic designer to produce content that feels native, not branded.
What You’ll Do
Create Great Content
- Concept, direct, and appear in Reels, TikToks, and short-form video
- Write captions and hooks that stop the scroll and feel human
- Brief and collaborate with our editor and graphic designer on carousels and static content
- Stay ahead of platform trends and adapt them to Nothing's voice — not trend-chasing, but trend-aware
Own The Feed
- Manage day-to-day posting across Instagram and TikTok
- Maintain a consistent aesthetic and visual identity
Content & Social Execution
- Own day-to-day posting across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms
- Write captions that feel human, smart, and on-brand
- Stay ahead of trends and adapt them to Nothing’s voice (not trend-chasing)
- Help plan content around launches, partnerships, and experiments
What We’re Looking For
You have:
- A portfolio of content you've made - video, photo, carousels, captions
- Strong instincts for what performs and why
- Experience making content for a brand, product, or your own account with real traction
- Comfort on camera (or strong skill behind it - ideally both)
- An eye for aesthetics and a feel for pacing, tone, and storytelling
You are:
- A maker first - you'd rather create than strategize
- Fast and iterative - you ship, learn, and improve
- Collaborative - you work well with a small, fast-moving team
Bonus points if you’ve:
- Grown an account organically from scratch
- Made content that went viral (even once)
- Worked with or managed a creative team or freelancers
- Helped a brand find its visual identity
