The successful candidate will play a key role in accelerating revenue, optimizing product presentation, and building brand equity across multiple online and offline platforms. A strong foundation in account management, sales strategy, digital marketing, and e-commerce operations—especially within the beauty or skincare industry—is highly preferred. Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Business Development

  • Own and manage the business relationship with a portfolio of independent retailer accounts and PurePlayer e-commerce partners (such as niche skincare boutiques and emerging digital beauty platforms).
  • Develop tailored seasonal and annual business plans for each account, including sales goals, promotional calendars, and assortment strategies.
  • Lead sell-in presentations for new launches and promotions, collaborating with internal teams to deliver compelling, brand-aligned programs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the independent retail and digital commerce landscape, helping Sunday Riley expand its footprint in under-tapped markets.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales Planning, Operations, and Finance to ensure flawless execution of account plans and deliveries.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive revenue and market share across assigned accounts.
  • Manage account-level forecasts, purchase orders, and inventory flow to ensure product availability and minimize out-of-stocks or excess.
  • Align trade spend and promotional investments with ROI targets, maximizing profitability across all initiatives.
  • Monitor competitive activity and provide insights on assortment trends, price positioning, and emerging PurePlayer platforms.

Digital Content & E-Commerce Optimization

  • Collaborate with brand and creative teams to ensure all digital content—product descriptions, images, banners, and enhanced content—is optimized for conversion and consistent across platforms.
  • Audit brand presence regularly on PurePlayer and independent retailer sites to ensure visual assets, copy, and SEO best practices are fully implemented.
  • Lead the creation and management of an account-specific content calendar, ensuring timely updates for new product launches, promotional assets, and seasonal brand campaigns.

Marketing & Promotional Planning

  • Partner with internal and external teams to plan and execute marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, homepage placements, promotional banners, and co-branded events.
  • Coordinate with media and marketing leads to support paid ad placements and sampling initiatives tailored to account-specific needs.
  • Lead execution of retailer-specific loyalty programs, gift-with-purchase (GWP) activations, and cross-promotional opportunities that drive awareness and customer loyalty.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze sales and promotional performance at the account level, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize future campaigns.
  • Track KPIs including sales growth, sell-through, margin, and conversion metrics; present findings and actionable insights to internal leadership.
  • Maintain internal trackers, weekly sales reports, and post-launch recaps to drive continuous improvement and cross-functional alignment.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in account management, sales, or digital commerce—ideally within the beauty, skincare, or broader consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.
  • Proven success in managing independent accounts or PurePlayer platforms with measurable growth outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; comfort working with data and making insight-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage external partnerships and internal collaboration across departments.
  • Deep understanding of digital merchandising, e-commerce best practices, and retail marketing programs.
